I can't stop thinking of Adam and Eve naked
and unashamed. And of how shame came,
How sin was displaced from the act of rebellion 
to the sight of the naked body.

 
 The Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?”
He answered, “I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid 

because I was naked; so I hid."

Is that the point?

I say to my children the yard is full of toys,
the garden hose is not a toy. Don't play with it.
And I go outside and see the yard all mud
and my children wrapped in towels they took from the line.
"Why are you wrapped in towels?"
"We were cold."
